It is clinically indicated for the treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis caused by Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (bacteria) and Malassezia pachydermatis (yeast), as well as an aid in the management of ringworm (dermatophytosis) infections caused by Microsporum canis, Microsporum gypseum, and Trichophyton mentagrophytes.
